The  camp will take place 2/19 – 2/22, that’s Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of President’s week, at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, 612 Greenwood Avenue, between Prospect Ave and E7th St. You can sign up for the whole week, or individual days.

As usual you can register for 9-1 or 9-3 on each day, but there will also be some further extended hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. (see below)

We spend the first two hours working in teams to build large scale projects, then we break for lunch and a run around at Greenwood playground (weather permitting). We come back and spend the last hour adding smaller details to our scenes and then pulling them all together to create one giant scene to photograph and show to parents at pick-up.

Those who stay from 1-3 can help destroy our creation and sort and pack the Lego, hang out and play, or build their own smaller Lego project.

The camp will be loosely based around the story of The Lego Movie 2

On Tuesday and Wednesday we will spend the mornings building a classic Lego city using a mixture of building from instructions with Lego sets and designing our own buildings. This will be Bricksburg – the city Emmet lives in in Lego Movie 1.

On Tuesday from 3-5 you have the option of signing your child up to come back to my apartment on Albemarle Rd and E5th St after camp to watch The Lego Movie (1).

On Wednesday from 3-6 you have the options of either signing them up for a group trip to the Nighthawk theater to see The Lego Movie 2, or picking them up at 3 and then joining us at the NIghthawk.

On Thursday and Friday we will spend the mornings building scenes from Lego Movie 2: Apocalyspeburg and planets and characters from the Sistar system.

On Thursday from 3-5 you can again sign up for your child to watch a movie at my place (either Lego Batman or NInjago).

On Friday we will finish at 3 with no extras.
