Hi Lego-fans,
Monday and Tuesday the 10 and 11th of September school is closed for Rosh Hashanah, and Wednesday the 19th it’s closed for Yom Kippur. On each of these days I plan to do a half day camp from 9-1 with the option of extended hours from 1-3pm. Camp is $50/day and extended hours are $25/day.
What happens at camp?
Each day we’ll begin at 9:00 at Seeley Park with a major architectural construction project. From 10:30 to 11:30 we’ll take a run around/lunch break at Greenwood Playground. From 11:30 to 1:00 we return to Seeley Park to work on smaller details for our big scene
The completed scene will be on display from 12:55 to 1:10 so it can be shown off at pick-up.
I’m still developing the themes but we will definitely be building medieval castles on one day and Ninja temples on another.
Anyone staying for the extended hours can help with breaking the main project down, build their own independent project or play on the jungle gym till around 2pm. From 2 to 3 we’ll go to Greenwood playground.
Weather
The first ten available spots for each day are “weather-proof” if there is bad weather I will host a smaller camp in my apartment. The remaining spots are weather contingent and may be cancelled 24 hours in advance in the case of a forecast for thunderstorms or heavy rain. In case of showers camp will continue but with modifications.
