Lego at Lark is designed so that each class can be done as a stand alone, but in January and February we are going to introduce themes that are also designed to connect from week to week. Registration is now open for students who enroll for either the three week Police/Batman theme or the two week Pirate/Underwater adventure theme. If there are spaces available registration for drop ins will open the week of the class.
Cost is $20/class.
Pirates/Underwater Adventure 2/7, 2/21 and 2/28
2/7 Pirates. We’ll build pirate ships and desert islands. Can the pirates find the treasure before their ship is attacked by creatures from the deep?
2/21/2/28 Underwater Adventure. The pirates are replaced by deep sea divers and their submarine. Fending off the stingrays, sharks and octopi in a bid to find sunken treasure.
Police/Batman 1/10 – 1/24
1/10 Police and Thieves. We’ll build a police station, jail cells, police cars and a safe for the robbers to break into.
1/17 Batman Begins. We’ll build the batlair, with computer array, hi-tech cell and the bat-mobile
1/24 The Iceman Cometh. Every hero needs a nemesis, in this class Batman (equipped with batflyer) battles Mr freeze and his ice ray.
