From 1/11 to 2/8 we’ll do a five week Castle class. We’ll build component parts for a castle – drawbridge, portcullis, guard house, and turret – then design our own castles using these and other parts. We’ll add detail with builds for a jousting competition, a dragon, jail cells/cages, and a treasure chest. One class will focus on attacking and defending our castles, the builds will include a siege tower, battering ram, cannon and catapult. Finally we’ll add a Robin hood inspired element with a forest ambush and a kings carriage.
We’ll skip 1/15 for Presidents day weekend and do a stand alone car themed class on 1/22 with all new vehicle builds including a 1970’s style car, a truck and a jeep.
From 3/1 to 3/22 we’ll do a four week Minecraft theme, building Steve, a creeper, farm animals, a wolf, a spider, a villager, an enderman, a nether portal, an enchanting table, a mooshroom and much more.
3/29, the final class of the session, is yet to be decided – possibly Minecraft will run over or we’ll finish with another stand alone theme.
You can sign up for each theme or for the whole winter semester. Cost is $20/class, with a 10% discount if you sign up for 4 or more classes, and a 15% discount if you sign up for the full semester. Therefore the Castle session on it’s own costs $90, the entire semester $187
